Nah they’re good, just ensure you get the right spring strength for your weight. I think I need a slightly softer spring. If I take a passenger I can feel the cushioning much better, on my own it’s still a bit hard even at max settings. So I’ve spring down for me, which I might get soon

Hope you get decent weather and make sure to stock up food and water for the first couple of days, after you get past the that 20 mile'er we did then it's a bit easier as your going through the villages and stuff. Great walk, kind of like how the WHW used to be a long time ago I think.

Yeah it would be nice to have a bit bigger fuel tank. I can push about 120-130 miles from a full tank, normally just topping up around 115 miles.

No idea! I don’t have any of those other accessories or parts so there could be interference. I think I read at the time, that if you put the Ohlin gas chambers facing down, then its doable s creates a little more room at the top.

You’re welcome and thank you for checking it out. I definitely recommend going over to Mull if you get the chance, hopefully when the weather is good. Yeah it makes me look forward to sunnier times again next year myself. I think I’ll check out Harris & Lewis next year or somewhere new at least.

Not at all, fits perfectly. Is maybe just an optical illusion but there was no issues with fitment

I personally didn’t, from what I was reading, with only the air filter and mufflers being changed, it was probably ok. However there’s a chance I could benefit from a retune but do far the bikes running well enough as far as I can tell. I’ve not noticed any other changes besides the noise when you open the throttle fully, which sounds even deeper

How have you found yours? I’ve found some things a bit frustrating, like cheap materials used on parts, but still love the bike itself. I’m spent fixing/upgrading things as I go

Hey Hikesome, appreciate the comment and thanks for checking out the video. Yeah it’s got some really nice parts along the walk for sure. It can be difficult to capture them on the camera when you’re walking, but hopefully I’ve been able to show a little. Enough for those considering doing The East Highland Way at least or maybe didn’t even know about it.
